Ishaan Agrawal and Lakshya Kalra, our founders, are students with a passion for all things STEM. Ishaan hails from BASIS Independent Silicon Valley high school and Lakshya from Lynbrook High School. The two boys met in middle school, where they took several STEM-related classes and bonded over their love for science and engineering. From their own STEM experiences, Ishaan and Lakshya realized that elementary and middle school aged students are more eager to learn from other students close in age to themselves, as the class becomes much more relatable and inspiring as a result. So, on June 13th 2020, STEMstars was born. STEMstars aims to teach valuable beginner and intermediate coding skills to kids while making the experience fun and engaging to keep kids interested. Through STEMstars, Ishaan and Lakshya hope to spark every kid's passion for STEM so they can go forward and build the future.
